How do I get PEPC access?


Each park/unit has PEPC Administrators who are responsible for setting up users with the appropriate roles for their park/unit. Contact your administrator found in the 'Park/Region PEPC Administrator List' (below) to start the PEPC access request process.

Notice of Monitoring


THIS IS A NOTICE OF MONITORING OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR (DOI) INFORMATION SYSTEMS. This computer system, including all related equipment, networks, and network devices (including Internet access), is provided by the Department of the Interior (DOI) in accordance with the agency policy for official use and limited personal use. All agency computer systems may be monitored for all lawful purposes, including but not limited to, ensuring that use is authorized, for management of the system, to facilitate protection against unauthorized access, and to verify security procedures, survivability and operational security. Any information on this computer system may be examined, recorded, copied and used for authorized purposes at any time. All information, including personal information, placed or sent over this system may be monitored, and users of this system are reminded that such monitoring does occur. Therefore, there should be no expectation of privacy with respect to use of this system. By logging into this agency computer system, you acknowledge and consent to the monitoring of this system. Evidence of your use, authorized or unauthorized, collected during monitoring may be used for civil, criminal, administrative, or other adverse action. Privacy Act Statement


Authority: 42 U.S.C. 4321, The National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended; and 43 CFR Part 46, Implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.

Purpose: The purposes of the system are (1) to track progress and milestones of park projects, including the legal compliance process outlined in the National Environmental Policy Act; (2) to allow park staff to collaborate with team members on a project, post plans and related documents for public review; (3) to provide public comment opportunity; and (4) to provide the NPS with a tool for comment analysis and response, which includes demographic information to better make informed decisions and serve the public.

Routine uses: In addition to those disclosures generally permitted under 5 U.S.C.552a(b) of the Privacy Act, records or information contained in this system may be disclosed outside DOI as a routine use pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552a(b)(3) based on an authorized routine use when the disclosure is compatible with the purpose for which the records were compiled as described under the system of records notice "INTERIOR/NPS-23, Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) System."

Disclosure: Providing your information in association with an authorized system user account request is voluntary, however anyone requesting access who declines to provide their name and business email address will not be granted access to PEPC.
