Early May marks the annual Teacher Appreciation Week celebration where parents and students show a little love to educators. This year Teacher Appreciation Week will be observed from May 6-10, 2024. As a former elementary school teacher, I can say from experience that this is a week teachers look forward to. Whether it’s a PTA-sponsored luncheon or gifts from students, even the smallest gestures of appreciation are welcomed.

And you may not know this, but from May 6-10 some retailers and restaurants offer special discounts to help celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. We’ll be updating this list as they are announced.
