WINSTON-SALEM, WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY HAS BIG PLANS FOR A PART OF A WINSTON-SALEM NEIGHBORHOOD, ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, THE UNIVERSITY WANTS TO REDEVELOP AREAS AROUND THE JOEL AND A LEGACY STADIUMS. ALL OF THAT PROPERTY IS OWNED BY WIG. SO THE UNIVERSITY SAYS IT’S WORKING WITH THE CITY OF WINSTON-SALEM TO CREATE A MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT WITH NEW HOUSING, RETAIL AND RESTAURANTS. THERE.
