Wake Forest University is making sure that's not the case: The 17th annual Turkeypalooza is this week. It's the campus kitchen's largest yearly event.
Students cook Thanksgiving meals from scratch, complete with turkey, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and sweet potato casserole.

They've put more than 500 meals together for those across Forsyth County fighting food insecurity.
Turkeypalooza coincides with National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week.
The meals will be delivered to local nonprofits, including Samaritan Ministries and Latino Community Services.
